Our NCC candidates have been vigorously training for the upcoming Inter-Unit Competition (IUC), scheduled for the 28th or the 30th of August.
The event will bring together cadets from across the two states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Six girls have been selected to perform a cultural activity. Anshika, a Sergeant and the proud recipient of the Best Cadet nomination, expressed her excitement in representing Telangana’s rich heritage through folk and classical dance. The troupe will be performing to a traditional Bonalu song.

When asked about their preparation, the dancers shared that the past few weeks have been particularly demanding. They have been dedicating long hours to practice, often missing classes and then working hard to catch up on their academics, a true reflection of their dedication and perseverance.

Adding to the performance, a group of boys will be playing live instrumental music to accompany the dance, enriching the cultural display with rhythm and energy. They mentioned that they would also be collaborating with students from other schools to enhance this performance.
The cadets all expressed hope of advancing to the Pre-IGC rounds, which could eventually pave the way toward the prestigious Republic Day Camp.
The enthusiasm, teamwork, and commitment of our NCC candidates truly stand out as they prepare to represent their culture and their school on such a significant platform.
